HAOSAIL / SERVICE & SUPPORT
Five steps to prepare your equipment, your team and your daily workflow.
For a workshop owner, the arrival of new equipment brings a practical question: what needs to happen before the team can use it in daily service? A wheel alignment system or four-post lift needs an agreed installation plan, a clear handover and operators who understand their responsibilities.
At HAOSAIL, we encourage customers to include these discussions in the equipment purchasing process. The following five steps provide a useful starting point for planning automotive workshop equipment installation, training and after-sales communication.

01 / BEFORE DELIVERY
Share your workshop layout, intended equipment position, main vehicle types and available utilities with the equipment supplier. Have the installation requirements checked against the documentation for the selected model by the responsible qualified personnel. Agree who will prepare the site, receive the shipment and coordinate installation. Identifying these responsibilities early helps everyone plan the next stage.
02 / AT HANDOVER
Delivery and readiness for use are separate milestones. Before putting equipment into service, arrange the required installation and commissioning checks in accordance with its instructions. Keep a handover record that identifies the equipment, completed checks, supplied accessories and any outstanding actions. For a wheel alignment system, confirm that the intended users understand the system setup and the applicable operating procedures.
03 / WITH YOUR TEAM
Training should give operators an opportunity to ask questions and demonstrate their understanding under appropriate supervision. Cover the tasks they will perform, the inspections required before use and the situations in which they should stop and ask for assistance. Keep operating instructions accessible, record who has received training and plan how new employees will learn the equipment procedures.
04 / DURING DAILY SERVICE
Keep model details, serial numbers, handover documents and maintenance records together. Assign responsibility for routine checks and follow the maintenance schedule specified for the equipment. A brief record of an unusual message or change in behaviour can give the technical team useful context later. This makes it easier to distinguish a new concern from something that has already been reviewed.
05 / WHEN SUPPORT IS NEEDED
When requesting after-sales service, include the equipment model, serial number, a description of the issue and any displayed error message. Add relevant photographs when they can be taken safely, and explain when the problem was first noticed. Agree the next steps with the service contact, including whether remote guidance or an on-site assessment is appropriate and available.
Agree the support arrangements before ordering
Before placing an order, clarify the installation, commissioning, training and follow-up support included in your quotation. Confirm any charges, customer responsibilities and arrangements for your location. A clear agreement helps the workshop and supplier work from the same expectations.
