Car Lift safety operating procedures

This regulation is specially formulated to ensure personal safety and normal use of safe two-column and four-column car lifts.

1. Before using the car lift, if it is a hydraulic car lift, check whether the hydraulic oil level is in the normal position.

2. After the car enters the workstation, its center of gravity should be located between the two columns, and the support legs should be stretched as far as possible in the front and rear directions of the car body to obtain the maximum support plane. The car lift can be started only after the support leg rubber and the car body skirt are in reliable contact. If there is a joystick, start and slowly push the joystick upward.

3. Rise to the required height. If there is a safety device, the safety device should be checked before the operator can operate. The operator is prohibited from pushing and pulling the vehicle too violently when working under the car lift.

4. Before the vehicle is lowered from a high place, the ground objects should be cleared. For lifts with safety and joysticks, the safety should be touched first, and then the joystick should be pulled down until the support arm drops to the lowest position. After the support arm is retracted, it can be pulled out from under the car so that the vehicle can be driven out of the car lift.

5. After thecar lift is used, retract the support arm to the minimum position and place the two support arms on the same side in a straight line.

6. For hydraulic car lift, the water in the lift cylinder should be removed regularly and the oil level should be checked. If the oil level is insufficient, the same brand of pressure oil should be added in time. At the same time, the lubrication, lift gears and seams should be checked.

7. If there is a general fault in the equipment, the person in charge should eliminate it in time, and major faults should be eliminated by maintenance personnel.

8. The work area and equipment surface should be cleaned before leaving get off work every day.

9. Maintenance instructions:

(1) Hydraulic oil should be changed and maintained six months after the first use, and once every year thereafter.

(2) Hydraulic oil should be HJ30 and HJ40 mechanical oils, and HJ20 mechanical oil should be used in cold areas.

(3) After re-oiling and assembly, the piston rod should be repeatedly moved up and down to remove the air in the cylinder.

(4) When dismantling parts when necessary, remember the original assembly position in advance and assemble them as they were. In particular, the placement of control valve parts cannot be changed at will, otherwise unexpected situations may occur.

In short, there are many types of auto repair car lift, and choosing a lift that suits you needs to be considered comprehensively based on actual needs and usage scenarios. Regardless of the type of car lift, you need to pay attention to safe operation to ensure the smooth progress of repair and maintenance work.
