Diesel engine plate compactors, as powerful mechanical equipment for compaction work, operate based on the principles of vibration and impact. During the operation process, they cause relative movement between the material particles, effectively eliminating the gaps between the particles and thus achieving the compaction effect. This kind of equipment is mainly suitable for compacting materials with low adhesion and friction between particles, such as river sand, crushed stones, and asphalt.
The model number of a plate compactor consists of two major parts. One part includes the category, group, type, characteristic code, and main parameter code, while the other part is the update code located at the end of the model number. Its working principle relies on the two physical principles of vibration and impact. By generating high-frequency vibrations, it pushes the material particles to move relative to each other, thereby achieving the purpose of eliminating voids and compacting the materials.
Diesel engine plate compactors can be divided into two types: internal combustion type and electric type. Internal combustion diesel engine plate compactors are generally driven by gasoline engines or diesel engines. When the engines operate at high speed, they generate a strong impact force to complete the compaction work on the foundation. Electric diesel engine plate compactors are driven by electric motors and are suitable for working scenarios with a power supply.
The main working parameters of a plate compactor include the bottom surface area of the working plate, the total weight of the whole machine, the exciting force, and the vibration frequency. These parameters play a decisive role in the performance of the plate compactor. Among them, the exciting force is used to maintain the forced vibration state of the compacted material, while the vibration frequency directly affects the compaction efficiency and density. When the exciting force is the same, the higher the vibration frequency, the higher the compaction efficiency and density.
During actual operation, diesel engine plate compactors need to maintain a certain jumping height, usually in the range of 0.4 to 0.8 millimeters. The higher the working frequency, the smaller the required vibration mass, and the lighter the total weight of the whole machine. However, since most diesel engine plate compactors use gasoline engines as the power source, and gasoline engines can only withstand a limited amount of vibration, the higher the working frequency, the higher the requirements for vibration isolation, and the more stringent the technical standards for each component.
Currently, Haosail has launched two models of diesel engine plate compactors, namely HZR90 and HZR90L. The HZR90L is equipped with wheels, which is convenient for pulling and moving. Its exciting force is in the range of 3500 to 5500 times per minute, which is slightly smaller compared to the HZR90 whose exciting force is 4200 times per minute. Customers can select the appropriate model according to their actual needs.
When purchasing or using diesel engine plate compactors, it is necessary to fully consider the specific requirements of the project, such as the size of the area to be compacted, the depth requirements, and the characteristics of the materials, and select the suitable model and specifications accordingly. At the same time, do not neglect the maintenance work of the plate compactor. Only in this way can the stable performance of the equipment be ensured and its service life be extended.
