In our previous article, we provided an overview of car lifts, focusing on their types, structural features, shipment, and installation. Let's delve deeper into these aspects to give you a comprehensive understanding of car lifts and their applications.

 

5. Steel Wire Rope Installation Diagram:

Requirements: Adjust to the same horizontal plane, with both sliders at the same plane height. It is essential to ensure that the two steel wire ropes are taut and not slack, and that the wire ropes are within the grooves of the wire rope pulleys and parallel to each other, without crossing. Otherwise, the synchronous action of the two sliders will not be achieved. 


For the safety of the lifting machine during its ascent and descent, the two lifting arms must rise and fall simultaneously. To maintain balance, we have used a balancing device to ensure that both sides rise and fall at the same time, and we usually use steel wire ropes to balance the two sliders. This time, we have installed two sets of steel wire ropes with opposite directions and symmetrical left and right, ensuring that the tension of these two sets of steel wire ropes is consistent, which guarantees balance.

 

6. Hydraulic Pipeline Connection Diagram:

Only authorized professional technicians are allowed to perform hydraulic circuit installation work. Pay special attention to the protection of oil pipe connectors to prevent foreign objects from entering the pipes and causing failures.

 

7. Vehicle Lifting Process (Professional Operation):

1) The vehicle is correctly positioned into the workstation, and the vehicle's parking brake is tightened;

2) Adjust the height of the four support trays to be consistent and pre-position the lifting arm to the correct car support location;

3) Stop lifting the vehicle just before the lifting arm is about to contact the vehicle's chassis, check the lifting arm's car support position (align with the support points), and adjust if necessary;

4) Continue lifting the vehicle until all four wheels are off the ground, press on the front and rear of the vehicle to ensure the car is securely supported;

5) Lift the vehicle to the height required for maintenance;

6) Press the descent handle until the vehicle no longer descends, and the vehicle lifting process is complete.

 

8. Vehicle Descent Process:

1) Press the lifting machine's ascent button, and stop after the vehicle rises slightly;

2) Pull the safety release loops on both sides of the lifting machine's columns;

3) Hold the descent handle until the desired height is reached or until the vehicle reaches the lowest position, with the vehicle completely on the ground, remove the lifting arm, and the descent process is complete.
